Anancoda thanks very much for all the pointers. Will try it out when I get a chance and will report back the result.
Is there anyway to get rid of the PC Angel boot loader and use the native Windows XP boot loader? The F11 thingy is exactly what I am worried about.
Thanks for the response. So that worked well for you? That sounds like a straight forward solution. I am just wondering if there are leftover crap hidden in the registry or the OS partition.
I am wondering if anyone has successfully and cleanly gotten rid of the Recovery Partition protected by PC Angel on their Gateway laptops? I have already created my Recovery CD set, and would like to get rid of the recovery partition...
magbarn, have you attempted any new upgrade on the MX3215?
Just want to report that the following VIA's AC'97 Audio Driver works fine on the MX3215 as well: http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx...0&SubCatID=104
I just burnt a Ghost Image of my system on a Fuji 8x DVD+R on my desktop, and my MX3215 DVD/CDRW drive reads the disc just fine.
