i believe it is a chipset limitiation with the memory. just talked with dell sales support. though i wont say it as a final answer, but they said they arent planning on selling the 7900 series like they sold the 7800 GTX, at least not...

while it isnt a technically definitive answer i believe i read somewhere that the current core duo platform (chipset, motherboard, etc) doesnt support more than 2gb of ram. could be the bank issue similar to the original athlon 64's...

i believe the 7800 GTX Go senario is mute right now. it looks as though that dell/nvidia will stop using 7800 series card, and 7900 series cards will be out shortly. simply wait and see what the new 7900 GTX/GT/Norm Go cards look...
