You had a hard drive for your C64? I had a floppy drive. Trying to remember, but it was like a 1540 drive or something like that.

The reason it is not in the system manual is that it was a bios revision after the fact. I would expect that newer models would ahve that - but yeah, it was an update to the bios.

Customer support is definitely the best place to check for painting options. At the time I got mine done - the lid was the only portion that could be done. But I believe that you can get the whole system painted now. But definitely ask...
One thing. I may have an extra slant - but I don't use the keyboard on the notebook. I use an external keyboard. So I don't know how it would work using the notebook.

That is a new one for me. Good for if you were using speakers (to have additional coverage, but yeah... defeats the purpose of the headphones.
Keep in mind though. If you use FN+F1 - you will disable the DJ controls on the system. The LEDs still function - but the controls themself do not - unless this is a difference with the first and second generations.
