When I replace my hard drive I get a external enclosure for the old drive and never loose anything. I have two additional drives for my HDX-16, I replaced the 250gb with a 320gb that is still Vista and then a 640gb upgraded to Windows 7....

Being too close to a 2.4ghz cordless phone or it's base station can cause disconnects also, we had to change to a 5.8ghz phone.

I believe my XL125 had 64MB on the mother board and would only accept 128MB in the expansion slot. I doubt if there is any way to change that.
