Do a search on this forum for this topic. I can't remember who it was, but somebody on this forum did build their own laptop from a barebones case, and made up a webpage w/ pictures on the experience.

Instead of making this a deciding factor on which laptop you buy, do what I did: spend $20 on a 10-key that plugs into a USP port.

I concur w/ Teegun: go online and figure out exactly what you want, then call and have the service rep look at the configure page w/ you and tell them exactly what you want. As for discounts, you're gonna have to ask. Worst they can say...

Also, unless I am mistaken on what you want, DDR333 is a RAM option on the F2 when you configure it online.
