it says exclusive stock available on the 12th. Maybe you should wait. Last time it said that they put the processor up from 1.6 to 1.8ghz and changed xp home to pro. Although the did reduce the hard drive from 100gb to 80gb.

My laptop will be a HP nc8430, does anyone have any experience of this laptop, easy to just swap the cpu's or impossible?
I'm pretty sure that 64bit proceesors can run both 32 and 64 bit applications.
I've just ordered a laptop with a 1.8ghz core duo. In the future (maybe a year or so) will I be able to replace the processor with a core2duo? I've read in many places that it is quite simple to just swap the processors.
In this house of 4 people we have, 3 desktops (all pretty sucky now, but my case owns!), 1 laptop (soon to be 2) and about 3 old desktops in the lost (which really really really suck)
