the 2nd option completely pwns the 1st one. Just a small fact, if the first option uses DDR2 memory, then it's a turion x2 laptop, not a normal turion. Still, the 2nd option is much better.

based on what you've posted, the m9700 is the right one for you. BUT, remember to choose the SLI option (dual graphics), if you choose only one, then the 9700 will be far inferior from the dell. the qosmio laptop is a joke...
