Well, the new hard drive got here today. I popped it in and Bios recognized it. So, it was my hard drive that went out.

Well, being the genius laptop taker apart-er... I disassembled the entire laptop, only to find out that two screws would have taken out the hard drive. +1 for me being an idiot.

Well, the funny thing is:
I had everything backed up on an external when I reformatted.... I went ahead and reformatted and when I went to pull my data that was backed up off of the external, it didn't recognize the external. The damn...
Uhm, I think I spoke too soon when I said that I've never had a problem with my 9300, but my hard drive just blew a big one.
I was sitting there and it had been acting a little funny, kind of spyware'ish... but I know I don't have any...
Different pins, the only way you'd be able to is replace the motherboard with a whole lot of modifications.
It'd not be worth the time, effort or money to do so. This has been posted quite a few times by the way.
