i reccomend the xps m170 of course.... if thats too much perhaps the inspiron 9400? (it has another name that i can never remember... ebay is always a good source of cheap laptops that work fine as long as you know what your looking for

so you cant get 30fps on a laptop screen but can on an external... i've been reading abouut this... this is because your GPU if fine and running fast but your laptop screen is slowing it down because it caps the fps at the max screen...

ouch.... isnt that annoying playing that game at that resolution with no eye candy?

so generally the bigger the better and the higher rpm the better obviously. But... what would be faster? the 120gb 5400rpm or the 60gb 7200 rpm?

anyone else play? still looking for ideas on how much spec in need on my laptop

hmmm is an old laptop so ram, and maybe graphics card? buy an external hard drive for it..... anddddddddddd...... well i guess you could tune it more? www.tweakguides.com is a good site for that
