Does anyone have the service manual for the Sony Vaio VGN270P Notebook?
Besides paying a premium at Sonystyle.com for the TX notebook where else would be a good place to buy this notebook? Maybe a place that sells it for a discount.

With the improvements mentioned about the TX series, would you say it is worth paying $2300 for the tx or I am better of paying $1700 for the older T-350pl?
Instant On - Does that mean the TX cam play DVD/CD without having to turn the computer on? Also the T-350 have those cd/dvd/ controls along the hing. Does that mean they play cd/dvd without the OS starting up?
