That is my plan is to get one on eBay. I just trying to be 100% sure the one I get there does indeed play DVD+Rs.

I have the LG DVD drive also in mine but it won't read any DVD+Rs. I have tried various brands of DVD+R Media and still as No go. I found one old firmware update for it but never could get it to work.
