Christmas present this year. So far I like it alot, though it is my first laptop. I've had quite a few dell desktops.

I have a M45 Toshiba Satelite, and I've had no heat problems.

My M45 runs cool, I've had it on my lap for a few hours and I've had no problems.

Do you have any electrical devices next to it like a radio? I'm probably totally off here but I had a similar problem with an old desktop and it turned out to be something like that. Just a thought.

Wow that hurt............wouldn't really call it laziness, just trying to simplfy.

I'll still have to plug the vga port into the laptop. I'd like to have an adapter for that to and they make them but they're expensive and from what I've seen have a low resolution.
