Very good to hear, the only trick to this then appears to be having an OEM CD to install from. For those who don't have one, it would be good to try the instructions on http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/wxp/ to make a bootable CD from the I386...

I figured it would have to be an OEM one, but they are sometimes hard to find. If someone could try that and report back, that would be great.
Is it confirmed to work with the ASUS CD-Key from the W3j? I saw that page before, but I don't have the laptop yet and can't try it.

Has anyone actually tried using another CD with the key on the bottom? Where did the CD come from and what version was it (OEM, Retail, MSDN Acadmenic Alliance, etc.)? I have heard mixed reports about this working and wanted someone to...
I'm just wondering if you guys had tried "Speedswitch XP." I use that with my HP zt3000 and it shows current speed and allows you to tweak some settings. It works very well and you can get it from...
