I use my M90 with a Focusrite setup that is firewire no probs. I have read other places there are problems however. Perhaps I just got lucky...

Jump on an M90 off of the outlet. I love mine, and really you are looking at like September before a notebook with a good GAMING DX10 card will be coming down the pipes.
