I have the same problem on my new lappie. 3D 2001 Banechmark is 7446 whereas it should be 10,000 +. Installed Speedstep utility and it confirms my maximum CPSU clockspeed as 600Mhz. Arrgh!

I was wondering the same thing about the RAM. The 855 Chipset supports up to 2GB RAM, so why does the Mitac specs (that i've read in a couple of different places) contradict this? Evesham, Rock and AJP are also offering this machine and...

I've heard that this really boosts system performance. I have a reduced my 'possibles' list to two machines but I can't find DDR400 support anywhere on their specifications.

With your specification, the WORLDS MOST ADVANCED LAPTOP will have 45 minutes battery life. Surely the world's most advanced laptop should have power AND longevity? How about a 2ghz Dothan processor with 533MHz bus speed and 2mb L2...
