I have an Inspiron 9300/ 1.73 @ 2.26 ghz pinmod/ geforce 6800 go/ 2gb ram Is this enough to run left 4 dead or should i buy for 360?
Last bump to this thread... So I did a volt mod to 1.420V, re-applied as5; prime stable for 18+ hours on blend. Should I undervolt with NHC? Thanks.
I also notice on CPU-Z, the CAS# Latency is different for one of the sticks - 4-4-4-12 vs. 5-4-4-12 Can someone tell me if this might be a cause?
I use NHC, but never messed with the voltage settings since the pinmod; I keep it at max performance and charged all the time. I'm not an adept when messing around with voltages, but I might need to read up on it for my sake.
Hi, The last time I was on the forums, I learned the pinmod from 1.73 to 2.26; prime tested the system for 2 days with no errors, never used Prime95 since. Two nights ago, I updated my video driver to 169.04 MobileForce. The problem...

First, I'd like to apologize for being a nub. My 9300 has been prime stable for 16 hours (1.7 @ 2.26) without undervolting. I read about great things about NHC, so I replaced quickset with NHC. I'm not planning to do any undervolting...
ahh, nvm i finally found a picture of what i was talking about. seems like i assembled it back together correctly. http://hardware.gotfrag.com/files/up...i9300_7900.jpg
to be more precise about the shape, it looks like the CPU's heatsink, but it feels like plastic and it has a hole in the middle, approximately the size of GPU's core. I have this piece under everything (cooling assembly on top of GPU...
