I think thats the problem, there is nothing to tweek! just refresh rate, screen size and colour depth. its the intel 910ml driver.

Have just bought a cheap Inspiron 1300 with a "LPL5000" screen, it seems to lack any contrast, I need have the brightness turned all the time. Is there anyway to alter the screen settings other than the FN brightness...

Ordered my Inspiron in the U.K. on the 6th, Dell said delivery the 11th. they then emailed to say a delay and would be 14th, but arrived as orginal date the 11th.
