Just reinstalled QP2, and it seems to have solved the problem. Must of been one screwed up initial installation to cause such an error.

Hmm...looking at the QP2 CD, am I suppose to install this in dos upon bootup, or in Windows?

Hmmm...I have a DV5000 Laptop, and im getting an "Hal.dll is missing/corrupt" error message when it tries to boot into QP from a cold boot. However, Windows XP SP2 loads fine without any problems. This is what system looks...

My laptop has the Intel(R) 82801GBM SATA AHCI Controller (Mobile ICH7M). Can I use any SATA drivers, or do I have to use the Intel one, which I cant seem to find. Can only find the Matrix Storage Drivers.
