I for one like that it has a serial port. Convenient for hooking up to console on servers and network devices. Yes, you can get a usb to serial adapter but I don't like having to carry around extra items and I dont like things hanging...

There are only two things I am very interested in knowing about this laptop: 1. Surface Heat (Palm rest, trackpad area, and keyboard) 2. Fan Noise The more opinions posted on these two, the better.
