Concerning the omega drivers. Any plans to make a set based on the 4.9 beta catalyst drivers?? There is a doom 3 hotfix included in the 4.9 version.

I guess this thread is what scared me. He could of just had a bad stick. My Transcend is still working fine.

I read in another thread that the KTI chip used for that memory isn't stable in m68xx systems (causes blue screens of death). That's why I went with the more expensive transcend.

I finally took the dive and bought the Transcend 1GB DDR333 sodimm from newegg.com for my m6805. Seems to work just fine. Played UT2004 for an hour last night with no crashes. I didn't pair up, I have 1.25 GB of system RAM now.

Are there 64-bit apps out there? yep. Are they mainstream yet? nope, only for early adopters. When will these apps be mainstream? When Microsoft and Intel decide... probably next year.

Maybe you should start a new thread for the o/c question and keep this thread focused on memory.
