I have talked to both Ron and Donald at powernotebooks and both were very helpful. They also responded to all of my emails within an hour if not minutes. If you were to buy the CL56 I'd say go with them. They're customer service is...
Don't forget also the P4 has dual channel ram and a 800mgz front bus speed. Where the any Pentium M chipset only supports single channel and a 400fsb...for right now.

Not basic but "Default". The things I listed were the only changes I made to the config. That means keeping the 1gig ram stick...
I just did. I kept all of the default options except I switched it to no paint, added the 108Mbps wireless, and switched from XP Home to Pro...$3,134. I still think its alittle high, but thats just my opinion.

I just read it again. The Northwood and Prescott are basically tied. Prescott wins some Northwood wins some...and only by a point or less. And if you pay an extra $400 the EE beats them both.

I'll try to find the report I was reading...I think it was Tom's Hardware...but it was actually about the new AMD socket 939 chips. They compared the chips to both the Northwood and the Prescott and it showed the Northwood beating out...
