As another member suggested elsewhere, try doing a search for service manual within the Acer forums. Also there's threads about that model.
I don't have that exact manual, but I've posted several others in the 5000 series that along...
Why not ask the vendor of the bluetooth module then? I can tell you where the connector is on the board, which you doubtless already know.
As far as the serial connection, I think the PCMCIA would give you a better chance at recognizing...
