Here's a screenshot of a disassembled Aspire 5100 mainboard, top. They are very similar, and the connector will be similar on all. Keep in mind that disassembly to this degree is not recommended for the newbie or faint at heart.

What's the specs, i.e. processor & chipset? I may be able to find a similar model, if not that one.

They all look like that, you nimrod. Try listing the processor(s) and chipset, as well as what you intend to do to your laptop, so I don't have to do your homework for you?

I can upload the FRU chapter only for the 1640Z-1650Z series if that will help. Or the 1650 which has the Intel 915GM chipset...if that is the same as yours.

The TM6000 and TM8000 series should be the same.
