I switched power supplies from the 2 prong PA-10 to the 3-prong PA-15 - no difference. I still hear the noise in my ear buds...

Don't know about DX10 gaming but I am playing WoW at 1680x1050 4xAA 16xAF & getting 55fps avg.

50C seems high - mine is usually within 1-2C of CPU idle (right now 33C CPU/35C GPU) At full load, CPU is higher than GPU (max temps I've seen are 71C CPU/62C GPU) - and that's with GPU overclocked to 635 & GPU memory overclocked...
