If she got 2.2k, I think S5NE would be a good choice. Thin, light, mobile, and attractive. With a 9-cell battery, you will get ~8.5 hrs. A warning beforehand, you cant upgrade the CPU.

I guess it jsut depend on how you want people attention? That is if you really care how your notebook looks. I think a white laptop is more noticeable. I seen the CV in action, it's pretty nice. I like the asus design better.

I go with the M6Ne. My brother has the M6N that's not widescreen. It looks really nice. With a budget of $2500, you might want to try Asus W1

well I dont mean right away. If the W1 is hot, Asus will probably make a barebone.

The W1 looks awesome. Is there any other company selling this beside Proportable? Hopefully they will come out with a barebone, so I can save a few greens.
