No worries, going off to college soon and I'm mainly worried about people spilling drinks on it at parties in the dorm. Just want some peace of mind.
I was just looking at the contract, and it says (for notebooks): "Only the central processing unit, internal keyboard, internal hard drives, and the computer’s built-in LCD are covered." Does that mean if something...
About a year ago I ordered an XPS M170 from Dell and got the Accidental Damage insurance. As I understand it, if something happens to my laptop (like if I spill a drink on it on or something) Dell will fix it or replace it for me. Has...
On my M170 I've noticed Dell has put it's own separate 86.3MB partition on the hard drive with some files on it. What is this, and is it OK to delete it? Also, there are 8 unallocated MB on my hard drive. Is it safe to use...

I don't understand the point of running a stress test when you're adjusting the voltage at the lowest clock speed (800MHz in my case). Doesn't it just up the voltage to the max one anyway? How should you test the lowest one?
Before I run NHC and mess something up, I'm wondering: When you close NHC, does everything you changed go back to the default settings, or do I have to change it back using NHC?
