I suspect it's the compatability of the software,and also you will know it which one by uninstalling one of the programs you recently installed,until you find which caused the freezing. It might be the ddl's that are corrupt,especially...

I have a toshiba M6 laptop with 17" screen and a full keyboard.I had it last January,2006 & still not encountered any problem. I am very happy with this machine of mine which replaced my dell desktop.
