This reader used to work and not it's acting up now. not sure whats up with it any suggestions?

If the machines are to old sometimes they don't create updates for it.

It would be better to through a bigger hd then add a second. S series are already so thin and get warm enough

4200 is a bit slow. 5400rpm is much better.
