Just to affirm that what clutchcargo said is correct, the only difference missed is that the 6809 also has a larger HD (80gb vs. 60gb). Same everything else.

No worries. Not 100% sure, but around 99% sure. It is remotely possible that the thin ribbon connectoid on the motherboard has a bad signal wire, but I have never personally seen this.
