My COD2 performance has been great; I don't have a framerate for you but it plays far better & smoother than COD1 did on a Dell XPS w/ Radeon 9800. I've got things pretty much maxed out on Doom4 and it plays "like butter"...

Odd. I haven't tried those games but Serious Sam 2, Call of Duty 2, and Doom4 all play perfectly on my 8204 - no artifacts or color anomolies at all... in fact those games are gorgeous on this computer. Don't know what to suggest -...

I wouldn't say I'm "happy" with the screen, but "satisfied?" Sure. Otherwise the machine has been problem free for me; no buzz, whine, dots, trots, heat or any other issue. Plays Call of Duty 2, Doom4, etc....
