What I'd wait for is the USB cable card HD tuners but they might not come out for awhile becuase they only work with Vista's DRM setup also you would have to rent the cable card and im sure it the tuner it self won't be cheap but it is...

The max for S-Video is 480i, so no it will not look good. You could get some componet cables but most PS2 games don't support 480p and even at that it won't look great. Edit: Sorry I was thinking LCD TV but for that you could get VGA...

That would be DVI, an LCD TV should have DVI or HDMI if it only has HDMI you can buy a DVI-HDMI cable and that would work to.

People are always sad when they hear about the screensavers I know i do to, but I can hope and pray for bad things to happen to G4.
