After returning from hibernation you may have some artifacts on the screen if you went into hibernation on a fairly hot machine. So in that case you may need to restart.

It is your the supplier that decides to unbundle the CDs from the notebook package (probably to look good in price comparisons, while actually being more expensive).
My supplier was both the cheapest AND delivered the full package...
Just contact MS, if you installed the same Windows version as the one that came with your machine and explain that you already own a license you will (most surely) get activation for free.

I would suggest:
First installing the Acer ones and see if it all works (be it with BT mouse and headphone problems).
At least you know taht it isn't a hardware or software problem after this (if it works)

It wouldn't matter much since the CDs would only be useful for someone with an Acer machine (it checks for BIOS signatures) so users would most pobably already have a license key.
