apparently there are new drivers that may allow larger cards (they are for TM810x, which is after all just a better Ferrari 400x, but apart from that just about the same make)

On my TM8106 Recovery DVD there is a directory
in which the package is hiding
If it isn't there you could try to extract it with Ghost (your own version of the one in acer\tools on the recovery DVD.
Apparently the same version as the one from the (I assume) o2micro ftp site.
Strage that Acer didn't update the other driver (for the PCMCIA stuff), as far as I am aware these are dependent on each other.

I flashed the 3F06 over the 3F05 of my TM8106, but don't see any differences.
