dude, you have to get the 7200 200 gb hitachi, then you know what is quiet and super fast.
I love dell's service, although their build quality is not the best in this world, but their replacement service is top notch IF you are in the warranty.
It's pointless to release new m1710 when there is no 8800 gtx go. 8700 gt is not even an upgrade against 7950 gtx. So i am not excited about new m1710 until 8800 gtx is available.

you can still buy warranty now, even after it ended.
Well, I just bought a Toshiba G40 while waiting for get approved, and i can get full refund "no question ask" within 15 days. BTW, i am thinking to get the 7900gtx go from dell for $650 if I get improved.

Is there any reason not to accidentally drop your m1710 from 3 stories high to concrete ground near the end of the 3 years complete care? Especially when they dont have m1710 by that time and 8800 gtx is out.
