hmmm i think you may have put the AC5 incorrectly, perhaps someone else here who has used the AS5 withi this laptop can shows us how/where to put it

i tried to disable the tapping in the mouse properties in the control panel but the touchpad still accepts the tapping!!

Yup, i tried the latest ATI drivers, it locks up when you unplug it with Powerplay on, but i went back to the old MSI ones coz sometimes it locks up when i come back from standby mode
