yes I have tried that! nothin is workin! so want can I do now?

here is the sound card I have ESS maestro 23 pci audiodrive! and the driver on it now is dated 7/1/2001 and its the dev_1978?? version 5.1.2535.0

no cause the driver is for the exact sound the sound card went out before I did any driver install? in device manger it say that its either couurpt or missing files?? any program I can get on line to check this you know of?

does any one have this or one real close to it I may ned one if you can help thank you

What would happen if the sound card went out? cause at start up the speakers make like a slight popping sound? if it is the card how can I get another card the same thing?

Ive tried everything I can even updated the driver to a like 2002 or 2004 driver and it has a yellow exclamtion point on it in device manager? what does that mean?

every time I go to download a new driver it says initial hardware failur? does this mean the sound card has crashed?
