Bad video card or bad display connection, I don't know. Either way, you should send it in to get fixed under warranty, unless you want to tear it apart yourself (risking warranty) and check for loose connections first.

There will be a difference, but I doubt it will be big enough of a difference for you to complain about. It would mainly affect program or file load times. Just surfing the web and working within most programs shouldn't need much disk...

I guess it's been long enough that the new generation of owners has arrived. These 9300 screen polls and threads were done to death about 3 months ago...but it's good to see how the current situation is.
But I thought the whole idea behind AMD using those numbers was to compare it to a pentium 4. Should the Sempron ratings be compared to a Celeron then?
