Thanks Adam for the confirmation about hd and mem. Now it remains only to resolve the problem that Ransaak have described : the spin down of the hd when not used. Do you have some ideas ???

You can view the review of the Acer 1712smi done by Adam, it uses go5700. The performance/desktop it seems to be only in clock differences, you change it via software. Exist a test in extremetech about go5700 too.
