Thanks I guess my whole point is with dell customer care is to get a laptop that wont need to be called on too much, therefore getting rid of the terrible support problem with never having to call!

Since you cannot put a ATI 9700 in a M60, I would think that you could not be able to stick the Quadro in the 8600.

Iceman I also have the Gold support....where do I get that number from? I LOVE my M60. They got it to me in 5 business days. I was very impressed. The only thing is that I replaced the video drivers with some modified inf files...
Try Acronis True Image.....GREAT software....
I would go for the IBM. I have not heard great things about the 600m. Now I just got my M60 from dell, and I really do love it. You might want to consider that also. Thanks DeathtoToasters
