I don't think ASUS soldered the CPU for this one.. but I believe only Low-voltage and Ultra-Low voltage Centrino CPUs are soldered onto the motherboard... I'm sure you could upgrade to Dothan if you want to but ASUS will avoid the 2yrs...

I'm wondering how is quality of the screen (such as brightness, contrast, and etc.). Is there any noise (high pitch sound) and any heating problems? I'm looking forward to see the pictures and full review of this laptop. Thanks jman. =)

I just checked Hpshopping.com and I could not find neither 64mb GPU and SXGA+ units. Did you guys place order it from HP?

1) Nope, you can't upgrade the mobile graphic card. 2) I don't know about that, but they probably will introduce new laptop when Dothan hits the market.
