I purchased my Z83V in November, it is the bes laptop I have ever owned. It has the best build quality. I love the screen it is beautiful. I get comments on it everywhere I bring it.
Its a nice mouse but I believed Logitech discontinued it, they are still available but pick one up soon.
Well you might be able to disable write ahead cache in Win2k but it may disable it on all drives causing a loss in system performance. I wil check on it.
There in lies your problem, I am pretty sure that windows 2000 does not support this feature, it was new to WinXP. So I believe your stuck with having to stop the device before removing it.
