If you get the driver from the intel site, you can pick what you install.
Or, go into control panel/add remove programs, select the intel package, then "modify", then you can unselect everything except for the driver itself....

Yes, they are the same in looks, connectivity, etc.
But I just confirmed (don't tell my wife) by looking at the label under the keyboards that they are 2 different "parts" coming from different manufacturers.
