I'm looking at buying ram for my system, and I can get OCZ ram at a good price compared to Crucial. Is OCZ any good? Also, do I get 533 or 667MHz for the ram? The price is pretty much the same for both speeds so do I really gain...
I was using Xgl and Compiz without problems on Dapper with my e1505/x1400. Keep in mind the card reader will only support sd/mmc cards, and not memory sticks as far as I know.

Assuming prices are US$, it's not that great actually. I just got the ~ the same (x1300 instead of 1400, but T2400 instead of t2300) for the same price... but in Canadian $$$!

Can anyone recommend a good cooling pad for an e1505/i6400? I've tried the Coolermaster Notepal, but it's not deep enough, and the lappy is really unstable on it. I guess the manufacturer forgot that laptops 15 or 17" wide are...
Yup, my old C640 only required popping the keyboard out too. The OP mentionned the 9400, which is slightly more "involved" as far as getting to it's guts.
