I really don't think anyone would do that, unless you have additional upgrades to your laptop like RAM or a faster processor but gl
download notebook hardware control and check temps. if it is around 53 degree celcius when just surfing the web then it is fine and around 63-68 running games. This model does get hot on the mousepad area so it is not just you.
when i turn on my old gateway, it goes to the loading windows xp page then goes to a black page with some error message for like a second then the system restarts. I can not see the error message because it shows for only one second...
ok that makes sense, also I think the card is being read wrong based on performance with games, like BF2 and oblivion. Thanks madcat, or timberwolf lol.
Divine Madcat, how can you be entirely sure that ATT is not recognising the card correctly? Do you know some other program that will state otherwise? I hope you are right because I don't want some crippled version of the x1600.
i have the 5672 with the x1600 and it dosen't seem to work, anyone else have this problem?
google notebook hardware control
I had the same problem and the sound gave me headaches. I called dell customer service and I got a full refund with no additional fees.
the 5672 does run hot, but to make sure it is not running too hot download NHC and check your temps. Mine idles around 51-53C, and after hours of gaming around 63 degress C.
If that dosen't fix it, then try this. http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/for...ords=&areaid=7
