what do you guys know about this notebook? is it any good? i cant seem to find any reviews. my sis bought this laptop at circuit city today.

My sister is looking for a notebook under $1000 (preferrably around $800). She's thinking about the Compaq V2000. Another other suggestions that have a nice bright screen?

I have the s6210...is it still the same material and build quality as the s6231? That's why i asked about the creakiness...because my laptop feels plasticy.

i have a Fujistu 6210 and the build quality is disappointing...creaky/flimsy/plasticy.

Which notebooks are known for their great build quality? Like IBM's (not a specially made rugged notebook).
