Will a 6800go from a dell inspiron work with a alienware 7700 that uses a 6800go? If so do i have to modify it in any way? And how would I do that? Thanks

I am trying to install a 7800gtx video card in an alienware 7700 with a bad 6800go card in it. The 7800gtx works fine but when i put it in the alienware 7700 it fits fine but i get no display with it. Do i need to do anything special...
