When i enable the TV out on my 5680 i'm getting flicker on my TV, most notably when watching movies on the black boxes above and below the picture. It's not really bad but it's not as good as it should be, any ideas?
So then i guess applying it afterwards wouldn't hurt anything, right. I just flashed it too, shaking's gone
Just for future refrence is there any danger in applying the keyboard fix (Fn Ctrl swap) with this new bios. I mean is there any danger of the two being incompatible?
I also ran Unreal 2 today and got amazing results. On my desktop (2.4Ghz, 256MB of mem, and a MX4200 Video card) i was getting pretty bad preformance at 800x600 with settings on low. On my 5680 i got AMAZING preformance at 1600x1200...
Thanks, i'll run both of them later tonight for a few minutes on my 5680. It'd be so sweet if it unstuck my pixel!
I have Dx 9 running on my 5680 w/ hyperthreading enabled and i haven't had a problem yet. Well i did get one lock up in BF 1942, but i think that's because of the USB-PS/2 adapter i was using with my KVM switch.
Alright just a little update. I ran BF 1942 as it comes off the CD at 1600x1200 everything set as high as it would go, bots at i belive 220% and cpu time given to bots at 20% and it never skipped a beat. I tried simular setup the other...
I leave the 2nd battery in my 5680 all the time and it boots without a problem. Go back in your bios and reset everything to the way it was when u got it.
Fn+F11 is the switch to turn on/off the 802.11b wireless in the 5680.
every once and a while i get free monitors and also free desktops and laptops in the 333Mhz Range.
