Well first off the INI's are different from the registry, but i don't know wheich one would be used for a setting like that, sounds more like a display driver kind of thing. Maybe type in "msconfig" and check the win.ini...

Don't know about their notebooks but they have great desktops, i build one for my bro and he loves it.
Why don't you just go into the power options and disable your Sager from sleeping when the lid is closed. There an option for like "take no action" or something like that for when the lid is closed.
well i don't know about this 5690 u speak of but the 5680 on the otherhand...first off you can't get both the cd drive and hdd in bay 2. so i'm going to guess u ment to have the hdd in bay 2 in which case the hdd would have to be taken...
