The price isn't worth it for the very slim increase in performance. The faster speed of the 667 is suppressed by the higher latency, knocking its performance back down to about the level of the 533 with its lower latency.
The resolution limitation on hers is because she got the WXGA screen while you opted for the higher WSXGA+ screen. The WSXGA+ is available only in glossy, but WXGA allows you to choose glossy or matte.
