You're overheating, I'd bet. I solved my problems with that on the 8880 by resetting the bios to default (I'd never changed them) and shaking the dern' thing around while blowing out the fans. It worked perfectly.

NP8880 Compatable?

Wow. That'd mean mine on the 8880 are old too. I've come to use DScaler for all my TV-in watching. It lacks the horizontal lines of the horrible interlacing in the default software. Definitely keep us posted about the upgrade though.

Nope. I've been wonderieng that myself in my time (mostly lurking) here. I've also got an 8880.

That DScaler program works wonders, even with the default driver. However, it won't capture/record. I prefer Cyberlink PowerVCR for that. It's not great, but it's better than the included stuff.
